Privacy & cookie policy

1. Who we are
PLM Global is a fictional company. This parody site, however, is real, and is run by its author, who is also the only recipient of the data described below. We collect only what we need. We need very little.
2. What we collect
The only data we collect is what you type into the contact form: your name, email address, the subject you choose and your message. Along with it we store the time it was sent, the language of the page and the reference number shown on screen. That is all.
The data is sent, via a Google Apps Script, to a private Google Sheet belonging to the site’s administrator. Like every important piece of information in a serious company. We use it only to read your message and, eventually, reply. The legal basis is your consent, given by ticking the box on the form.
We keep messages until we delete them manually, which means 12 months at most. Or immediately, if you ask.
3. Statistics
We have none. The site does not measure visits, clicks or time spent on pages, and uses no analytics services. If you are reading this, we will never know. We like to think you are.
4. Cookies and local storage
This site uses no cookies. Fonts, images and scripts are all hosted locally. The only thing kept in your browser is your preferred language (“plm-lang”, in localStorage), so we don’t have to ask twice. You can clear it at any time in your browser settings.
The site makes no requests to other domains, with one exception: when you send the form, your message goes to Google Apps Script (script.google.com). Google technically processes the request, including your IP address, under its own policies; we neither receive nor store it.
The only cookies at PLM Global are the ones in the 13th-floor kitchen, and they are gone by Tuesday at 10am.
5. Your rights
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and objection, and the right to withdraw your consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (in Romania, ANSPDCP). For any request, use the contact form and choose the subject “Integrity report”. This time, we really will revert.
